ChitoPran - wound dressing that cures and bio-resorbs itself.

Biopolymer stimulating dressing

The interactive dressing based on submicron chitosan fibers in the form of a nonwoven fabric. Stimulates and accelerates the reparative processes. The dressing promotes rapid healing, moreover there is no need to remove it: ChitoPran is resorbed naturally or just easily removed while cleansing the wound or forms a covering that promotes fast epithelization and then comes off. The effective healing is based on the biological activity of chitosan and on the special structure of the dressing. The innovative technology of processing of the chitosan used to make the dressing, allows it to obtain a structure with a specifically developed surface and porosity, which provides favorable conditions for the wound process: optimal moisture, breathability and noninvasiveness. The dressing accelerates epithelialization of the wounds that allows to significantly reduce the time of the treatment and to prevent the formation of rough scars. It is ideal for the wound treatment of patients with fragile and thinning skin.

Indications:

The local treatment of granulating, slow-granulating, long healing wounds, burns of II - III degrees, venous ulcers, pressure sores, frostbites. Temporary closure of the wounds of donor sites or while preparing for autodermoplasty. Healing of the wounds of oral cavity surface.

ChitoPran antimicrobial

Antimicrobial biopolymer wound dressing with cipro

The interactive dressing based on submicron chitosan fibers in the form of a nonwoven fabric that stimulates the reparative processes and can be applied on the infected wounds. Submicron fibers greatly enhance the bioavailability of cipro and thus allow the use of low drug concentrations to provide antimicrobial effect towards gram-positive and gramnegative bacterias including S.Aureus, P.Aeruginosa, E.Coli. The dressing promotes rapid healing, moreover there is no need to remove it.

Indications:

Local treatment of plain risk-infected/infected wounds of various ethiologies: burns of II - III degrees, venous ulcers, pressure sores, frostbites.

Method of application:

Before applying the dressing, it is necessary to sanify the wound. Open the sterile inner packaging of the dressing. When necessary, the bandage can be cut with sterile scissors. Remove the protective layers using tweezers and apply ChitoPran on the wound, so that the dressing goes beyond the edge of the wound. Сover the dressing with a sterile gauze napkin and fix the dressing with bandage. The re-bandaging is carried out depending on the condition of the wound after 1-2 days. When the positive dynamics of wound healing are observed the “ChitoPran” dressing is left on the wound, and only gauze and fixation layers are changed.

 

ChitoPran with collagenase

Biopolymer debriding dressing that reduces scar formation

The interactive dressing based on submicron chitosan fibers containing collagenase. The dressing continuously removes necrotic tissue from wounds, allowing granulation to proceed and epithelization to occur. Helps to maintain a clean wound bed by removing debris over time and to prevent reaccumulation of clinically harmful amounts of necrotic tissue. Provides good cosmetic results greatly optimizing/reducing scar formation. Indications:

Chronic plain dermal ulcers including pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, and venous leg ulcers and severely burned areas. Appropriate for both initial debridement and continuous debridement after sharp or surgical debridement. Indicated to prevent formation of keloid scars.

Dynamics of healing of burn wound by boiling water of left limb 4% I-II-IIIst.

Fourth day after injury. Formation of necrosis (scab). Diagnosis - thermal burn (boiling water) of the left limb 4% I-II-IIIst. Necretomy of a deep burn on the shoulder with autoplasty was performed, and nekrekitomy borderline in the depth of burns (middle - lower layers of the dermis) with plastic by ChitoPran. After 8 days, complete epithelization and long-term results (after 1 and 3 months).
